Plankara Oy is an engineering consultancy based in Vantaa, Finland, providing mechanical, electrical, automation and software design for industrial clients. We are looking for an experienced cabinet design engineer for process automation delivery projects in the North Savo region (Varkaus area).

The work

– Design of system and I/O cabinets for automation systems

– Cabinet layouts, circuit and wiring diagrams and power supplies

– Cabinet bills of materials and manufacturing documentation

– Coordination with field design from field device to I/O card

– Work in the client's project team; remote work possible as agreed with the client

We expect

– At least 5 years of experience in designing automation or electrical cabinets

– Electrical design software in daily use (e.g. EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical or CADS)

– BSc or MSc in engineering or equivalent

– English as working language; Finnish is an advantage

– Readiness to relocate to Finland

– Experience with process automation systems (DCS) is an advantage

How it works

– We first present your skills to the client anonymously. Your name is disclosed only with your permission and always company by company.

– When the client wants you on the project, we sign an employment contract with you.

– Salary for an experienced designer.
